On March 6, 2023, lawyers He Qiuting and Tang Siyuan, the heads of the International Department of Guangdong Hebang Law Firm, were invited to participate in a seminar held by the Guangzhou International Commercial and Trade Mediation Center. Led by Li Fengsheng, Deputy Director of the Yuexiu District Justice Bureau, they visited the Guangzhou Lawyers Building together with representatives of lawyers from Yuexiu District and Hong Kong, to gain a deeper understanding and learn about the operational mode of the Guangzhou International Commercial and Trade Mediation Center, as well as its experience and achievements in foreign-related legal work.
Peng Bo, the Chairman of the Guangzhou International Commercial and Business Mediation Center, provided the visiting delegation with a detailed introduction to the daily operations, successful cases, and specific situations of foreign-related legal work of the mediation center. As an important mediation platform in the Greater Bay Area, the mediation center provides a safe, convenient, efficient, and professional dispute resolution path for commercial entities, offering strong legal protection and support for the international development of the Greater Bay Area.
Li Fengsheng, Deputy Director of the Yuexiu District Justice Bureau, stated that the Yuexiu District Justice Bureau highly values the role of mediation in resolving commercial disputes. He emphasized that Yuexiu District possesses abundant legal resources and professional advantages, and hopes to establish in-depth cooperation with the Guangzhou International Commercial and Trade Mediation Center in the future, to achieve resource sharing and complementary advantages, and jointly promote the innovation and development of foreign-related commercial mediation work.
