On the afternoon of March 11, 2024, the second meeting of the International Legal Department of Hebang Law Firm was successfully held. The meeting was presided over by Department Director He Qiuting and guided by Jiang Ting, Senior Partner of the firm. All team members shared information and held in-depth discussions on future work plans, business expansion and client services.
1. Considerate Client Services with Full Accompaniment for Overseas Investment
To assist clients in completing formalities for overseas investment, the International Legal Department provides one-stop full-process services, including accompanying clients to embassies and consulates to complete relevant procedures and answering all kinds of inquiries. Fully aware of the importance of overseas investment for enterprises, we strive to deliver the most professional and thoughtful legal services, ensuring clients complete the whole overseas investment process smoothly and achieve the goal of international development.
2. The Firm Officially Enters the Cooperative Law Firm List of the German Consulate
At the meeting, Liao, Deputy Director of the International Legal Department, announced that the firm has established official cooperation with the German Consulate and been included in its designated law firm roster.
3. New Proposal Put Forward to Cooperate with Yuexiu District Bureau of Commerce
Director Jiang proposed that the department should strengthen internal communication and formulate a standardized service process for foreign-related projects, covering investment filing review, background introduction of destination countries, and service charging standards. Meanwhile, Director Jiang plans to connect with the Yuexiu District Bureau of Commerce, aiming to provide free legal consultation and paid professional legal services for local enterprises in Yuexiu District.
4. Safeguard Foreign Investors’ Local Investment; Agency Services Boost Enterprise Development
To meet the legal needs of foreign investors in China, the department will further expand foreign-related legal services, including agency services for business licenses, work permits and visa applications. We will cooperate with professional agency institutions to ensure professionalism and efficiency, delivering convenient legal support for foreigners living and working in China and empowering their development in the local market.
5. Strengthen Professional Learning and Internal Exchange
The department plans to hold its third regular meeting in late April, and invite Huo Dongmin, lawyer of the firm, to share practical experience in foreign-related legal work. All lawyers of the firm are welcome to participate in communication and learning.
The successful convening of the second meeting has clarified the development direction of the International Legal Department and laid a solid foundation for delivering more comprehensive and professional legal services to clients. Adhering to the philosophy of Client First, Service Foremost, we will continuously improve service quality and create greater value for clients. Going forward, the International Legal Department will work together with all lawyers of the firm to write a new chapter in international legal services and escort the internationalization development of enterprises.
